Miraculers, fans of the French children’s cartoon Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Chat Noir, are voracious spoiler-seekers, stopping at nothing, even piracy, to devour the latest episodes.

A site for spoiler-hungry fans to exchange French lessons for early access to new episodes.

All fans needed to do was link their Duolingo accounts so the site could track their progress. As they completed more French lessons, they unlocked more episodes.

Duolingo announced the launch of miraculous.lingo on social media a month before the premiere of season 6.

As episodes were released, Duo would even drop some spoilers in French for fans to decipher.

Duo also infiltrated billboards to promote the launch and get the buzz going among fans.
